“The Scavenger hunt was on March 6th starting at Leedy Grange. We began the day at 10 am and ended our hunt at 6 pm. We took MAX around Portland collecting objects and pictures for points. The Youth were divided into two teams: Guys and Girls, with one adult going with each group. It was a close victory, but the Guys won by 20 points. Next year the Girls will beat them, but until then we say congrats to the Guys.” Stormie Williamson |
“Since Stormie already told you exactly what we did, I will tell you more about our ride. The Girls’ team decided to start out by going to the airport. On the way out and once we were there, we got to talk to many people about the Grange and pick up many items. After the Airport we went back to Portland and found many more people to talk to and give beads to. The beads had little cards attached to them with the State Grange website, Clackamas County Youth email and the Youth MySpace address. While in town we had a lot of fun and met many different people. We can’t wait until next year to do this again.” J.C. Dumolt

A big THANK YOU to Clackamas Pomona Youth for putting on this year’s Scavenger Hunt. Leedy Grange was gracious to provide their Grange hall for the weekend’s activities. Dinner was provided by
Clackamas County Youth and breakfast was provided by Washington County
Pomona represented by Leedy Grange, Scholls Grange and Tigard Grange. We
all had a great time and hope to see more participants next year.
