The Subordinate/Community and Pomona Grange must certify all applicants as eligible by submitting the completed Farmer/ Agriculturalist Application signed by the Master of the Subordinate/Community Grange and the Master of the Pomona Grange. A Subordinate/ Community Grange may certify as many applicants as they feel are qualified.
 

The applicants must also submit an essay of 500 to 750 words on their vision for the Grange as it relates to agriculture.
 

Applications must be sent to the State Agriculture Director by June 1. Print the application. Note: This application cannot be filled in online. Print, enter information, and mail.
 

A three-person panel appointed by the Agriculture Committee and the State Master will review and rank the applicants based on their written application and essay.
 

The winner will receive a plaque and will be announced at the annual convention.
